Median rents have increase in the last few years and with the current market, will keep raising.   If your on the fence on buying a home instead of renting, always keep in mine the costs of owning a home.  You have your  down payment and closing costs first when buying a home.   Always factor in your taxes , insurance and HOA Fee (if applicable).   This will give you your total monthly payment.   Prior to writing an offer consult with a Mortgage Broker or Banker to see the amount of home loan your qualify for, most or all realtors will ask for a pre- approval  letter from your lender.
